An extremely important factor to us was that Ann Scarborough is full service. Being remote has its challenges when you need someone on site and can’t always fly down to be there – she was there for us, on site when we needed her. Ann has numerous relationships with inspectors, geologists, yard maintenance, window treatment specialists, closet specialists, etc., who made themselves available on a tight timeframe. And speaking of gratitude, I want to give a special thanks to Ann Scarborough for all of her hard work in successfully selling this property at a price that was higher than what any of the other realtors were proposing to list it for. Particularly impressive was her activity during the eight-day period starting January 23, when the Buyers gave us their adjusted offer of $4.6 million. By swinging into high gear, relisting the property at a lower price, and having multiple showings, Ann was able to press the Buyers to come up $150,000 on their offer by January 31. To put that figure in perspective, it not only covers Ann’s commission on the sale, but also covers all the expenses we incurred preparing the property for sale and maintaining it in good shape over the past several months. So, thanks Ann.
